Brittany Horvat About

Brittany Horvat

Brittany was born in Fort Worth, Texas, but didn’t live there long. At 3 years old, her family moved to Spring, Texas where Brittany lived until she graduated high school in 2014. Brittany then attended Stephen F. Austin State University and received her bachelor's degree in music education in 2018. While in college Brittany became very involved in the Catholic Campus Ministry which led to her joining FOCUS (The Fellowship of Catholic University Students) after graduating. Brittany spent 2 years as a FOCUS missionary serving college students at Angelo State University. She was also given the opportunity to serve on 2 foreign mission trips to Peru, as well as attend a pilgrimage to the Holy Land. In 2020, Brittany married her husband, Alex, who she worked alongside as a missionary. They moved to Mansfield and Brittany began a new job teaching music at Annette Perry Elementary. After 3 years of teaching, Brittany greatly missed working full time in ministry, so she said goodbye to the classroom and joined the St. Jude staff. She is excited to continue working with young people in this new capacity. In her free time, Brittany enjoys hanging out with her husband and dog, spending time outside, reading, and just about any crafty hobby she can get her hands on.
