Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
I write to express my heartfelt gratitude for your generous support of our Capital Campaign. With joy and excitement, I am pleased to announce that the St. James Center is scheduled to open on August 15, 2025. This project has been a beautiful way to connect our parish's past
with its promising future.
As we move toward completion, we still need to raise approximately $600,000. Currently, 905 of our
3,800 parishioners have contributed. If you have not yet had the opportunity, I invite you to prayerfully consider making a gift. Many families have generously increased or accelerated their
pledges to help reduce the interest on the loan, and eve1y contribution makes a difference.
As previously shared, we will honor all donors on a dedication wall in the new Parish Hall as a
lasting expression of our gratitude.
It is with great joy that I invite you and your family to join us for the Dedication Event for our
New Parish Center on Friday, August 15th, the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin
Mary, a Holy Day of Obligation.
The evening will begin with a reception at 5:00 PM, followed by Mass at 7:00 PM. During this
special celebration, I will bless our new St. James Center-and following, we will
share refreshments.
Thank you once again for your generosity and devotion to our parish family. Your supp01i-no matter
the amount-is vital to completing this project and strengthening our St. Jude community.

We Need Your Help!
Embracing Our Past, Connecting Our Future
The 2023 St. Jude's Capital Campaign 'Embracing Our Past, Connecting Our Future' will provide the funding necessary to create a much-needed space for the parish by preserving the historic St. James Hall and connecting it to the current church. This connection expands the available public meeting spaces and updates the historic building to provide a beautiful facility that will include a full kitchen with commercial cooking capabilities, a rentable event and gathering space that seats up to 416 people, expands and updates public restrooms to be ADA compliant, and creates multiple new meeting areas for ministries to utilize.

Additional Improvements Include:
- Preserve and utilize the historic St. James Hall building.
- Build an appropriately sized commercial-grade kitchen to meet the needs of our growing parish.
- Create a large, flexible space to accommodate community gatherings, retreats, educational events, receptions, and Mass overflow, scaled for current and future parish needs.
- Create a revenue-generating event space. Add an outdoor kitchen and patio for community events. Establish a more prominent Catholic gift shop.
- Prepare for future campus changes, including the removal of the St. Jude Center.
- Establish a building maintenance and restoration fund.

Lord, guide us as we expand our parish campus. Inspire generosity in our congregation and unite us towards a common goal.
May our efforts reflect Your grace and serve as a witness to our community. Create a place where all are welcomed, cared for, and loved.
