#iGiveCatholic is an annual giving day for the faithful nationwide (and the globe!) to come together and raise as many charitable dollars as possible for Catholic parishes, schools, and ministries in participating dioceses. Last year, #iGiveCatholic raised over $20 million for 1,870 organizations in 50 dioceses across the United States!
This year St. Jude is looking at a goal of goal of $100,000 is to enhance communication with a new Electronic St. Jude Sign along with the following, a Choir Area Extension, and an Outdoor PA System.
1. Electronic Sign Installation
- Purpose: To provide clear, dynamic communication of parish events, Mass times, and community messages.
- Features: Weather-resistant LED display, programmable messaging, and energy-efficient design.
- Benefits: Improves visibility and outreach to parishioners and the wider community.
2. Choir Area Extension
- Purpose: To accommodate a growing choir and improve acoustics during services.
- Features: Expanded platform space, improved seating arrangement, and enhanced sound distribution.
- Benefits: Supports musical excellence and enriches the liturgical experience.
3. Outdoor PA System
- Purpose: To be able to broadcast to the exterior of the church, especially during large gatherings or outdoor events.
- Features: Weatherproof speakers, wireless connectivity, and integration with the existing sound system.
- Benefits: Ensures inclusivity for overflow crowds and enhances participation during outdoor ceremonies.
